There are 17 points Sustainable Development Goals to Transform Our World into a better place. The goal number 14 related to the live below water have objectives to conserve and make a sustain use of the Oceans, Seas, and Marine Resources. The World’s Oceans drive global systems that make the Earth habitable for humankind. Our rainwater, drinking water, weather, climate, coastline, much of our food, and even the oxygen in the air we breathe, are all ultimately provided and regulated by the Sea. However, careful management of this essential global resource is a key feature of a sustainable future. Thus, in this master class we would like to discuss about current status of marine resources in Indonesia, what is the big thread for our marine resources, and how we can manage them for sustainable development.
