MEKONG Festival 2009

Keio University collaborate with SOI-Asia has a new event "Music PLAZA", a Global e- Performing Art Project at Mekong Festival on coming November.

MEKONG Festival 2009 is a festival to celebrate the friendship year between Mekong Region and Japan, and it aims to bridge people from each countries both physicalls and psychologically by Cultural exchange. The event invites young performers from Mekong Region and other Asian countries distantly using SOI Asia facilities. The main stage is going to be placed at the final day of Mekong Festival, November 23rd.

This should be a great opportunity for performers to collaborate beyond schools and countries, and also having heard and viewed from audiences overseas could be a stimulus experience to have.

The application deadline is October 30th.
