CONNECTivity Event Update: Videos and Guinness World Record

On Friday, November 25, 2011, UNESCO, SOI Asia, INHERENT and CONNECT Asia organized an online seminar called CONNECTivity event hosted by Directorate General of Higher Education, Indonesia (DIKTI) about building green societies. The seminar connected prominent experts in their fields and participants world-wide through National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) and other ICT networks.

Furthermore, we successfully break theGuinness World Recordwith “The largest online ecology seminar involved 2,592 participants and was achieved by UNESCO Jakarta & CONNECT-Asia in Jakarta, Indonesia on 25 November 2011.”
